UCI professional teams for the 2025 season

With the registration procedure for UCI professional teams (UCI Women’s WorldTeams, UCI WorldTeams, UCI Women’s ProTeams and UCI ProTeams) now completed, the Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI) today announces the names of the 57 teams registered for the 2025 season.

The 2025 season marks another major step forward for women’s professional cycling with the introduction of the UCI Women’s ProTeams, establishing a two-division structure similar to that of the men’s teams. This first registration of teams in this new category paves the way for its gradual expansion, with arrival of new teams already announced for 2026.

In addition, the 2025 season will be the last of the current licensing cycle for men’s and women’s teams. At the end of the cycle, all UCI Women’s WorldTour and UCI WorldTour licences will be reallocated for the period 2026-2028.

UCI Women’s WorldTeams (women’s 1st division)

In accordance with article 2.13.095 of the UCI Regulations and following a full review of the files received in relation to the different registration criteria (ethical, financial, administrative and organisational), the UCI has registered the following 14 UCI Women’s WorldTeams (1), which already hold a UCI Women’s WorldTour licence:

CANYON//SRAM RACING (CSR – GER)
CERATIZIT PRO CYCLING TEAM (CTC – GER)
FDJ – SUEZ (TFS – FRA)
FENIX – DECEUNINCK (FDC – BEL)
HUMAN POWERED HEALTH (HPH – USA)
LIDL – TREK (LTK – USA)
LIV – ALULA – JAYCO (LIV – AUS)
MOVISTAR TEAM (MOV – ESP)
ROLAND (CGS – SUI)
TEAM SD WORX – PROTIME (SDW – NED)
TEAM VISMA | LEASE A BIKE (TVL – NED)
UAE TEAM ADQ (UAD – UAE)
UNO-X MOBILITY (UXM – NOR).

In addition, after hearing the team that was unable to be directly registered by the UCI, the Licence Commission decided to approve the registration of the following UCI Women’s WorldTeam:

TEAM DSM – FIRMENICH POSTNL (DFP – NED).

UCI Women’s ProTeams (women’s 2nd division)

In accordance with article 2.19.113 of the UCI Regulations and following a review of the files received in relation to the different registration criteria (ethical, financial and administrative), the UCI has registered the following three UCI Women’s ProTeams:

COFIDIS WOMEN TEAM (CWT – FRA)
EF EDUCATION – OATLY (EFO – USA)
LABORAL KUTXA – FUNDACION EUSKADI (LKF – ESP).

In addition, after hearing the teams that were unable to be directly registered by the UCI, the Licence Commission has decided to approve the registration of the following UCI Women’s ProTeams:

ARKEA B&B HOTELS WOMEN (ARK – FRA)
ST MICHEL MAVIC AUBER93 (AUB – FRA)
VOLKERWESSELS WOMEN’S PRO CYCLING TEAM (VWT – NED)
WINSPACE ORANGE SEAL (WOS – FRA) (2).

For the 2025 season, a total of 22 women’s professional teams will compete in events on the UCI International Road Calendar. The registration process for the UCI Women’s WorldTeams, UCI WorldTeams, UCI Women’s ProTeams and UCI ProTeams for the next season is now closed. In total, 15 UCI Women’s WorldTeams, 7 UCI Women’s ProTeams, 18 UCI WorldTeams and 17 UCI ProTeams have been registered for the 2025 season.

Among the UCI Women’s ProTeams registered for the 2025 season, the top two listed on the 2024 UCI World Ranking for women’s teams are entitled to receive invitations to all UCI Women’s WorldTour events for the 2025 season:
