During its Extraordinary General Assembly held today, the Association Internationale des Groupes Cyclistes Professionnels (AIGCP) overwhelmingly voted in favor of integrating professional women’s teams.
This historic decision marks a major milestone for the AIGCP, which now becomes the representative body for all professional teams-both men’s and women’s. It reflects the teams’ shared commitment to uniting their voices and more effectively advocating for their common interests with key stakeholders in professional cycling, as AIOCC is. With this expansion, the AIGCP reaffirms its core mission: to represent, protect, and promote the interests of professional cycling teams in a rapidly evolving landscape.
Cpa Women is pleased to continue the collaboration with the association led by Brent Copeland and to establish constructive and shared objectives for the benefit of the cycling family.
